About the Author
Susan E Wright is 46 and she attended St Columba's School in Kilmacolm. Away with the birds is her first novel although she has had a few poems published in magazines and has always enjoyed English as a subject. She works part time in a small gift shop in the same village in Scotland where she attended school and has lived there for most of her life. The idea for her book came when she watched the birds in her own garden and she would give them all names and they became characters and so the book developed from there. This book is dedicated to her sons, her partner Tom who has been very patient while she sat at the computer day in and day out but most of all to her brother, Gordon to thank him for his very special gift, the gift of life, love you bruv.
