RALLYING THE PEOPLE OF GOD
Let us begin with recognizing how unusual it is throughout history that cataclysmic events ever occur without warning. In nature, rarely has there ever been a catastrophic hurricane or cyclone, a blizzard or ice storm, volcanic eruptions, even a tsunami, that was not predicted far in advance. Most man-made catastrophes, such as the World Trade Center bombing, the “insurgencies” of Iraq, the holocaust of WW II, major forest fires, major flooding of New Orleans (a combination of man deficiencies and of nature) are also able to be seen far enough in advance to be prevented, or their effects minimized with foresight and “wise” plus “heroic” action.
Historically, the destruction of cultures is likewise forewarned. Spiritual, moral and economic crises do not happen overnight! They begin as “minor” conflicts, which the truly wise can see coming long before they become crises.
The population of America, this Christian Nation - brought into being by its founders who were following the Holy Spirit of God, and for the stated purpose of advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (the Mayflower Compact and the New England Confederation Agreement) has been resisting for more than forty years, signs of a pending crisis in its probability of survival as founded. Moral relativism pervades the nation and shouts aloud to anyone willing to listen. Abortion, failure of its public education system, sexual perversity, loss of religious freedoms, deteriorating marriages/families, the successful encroachment of secular humanism, are all very visible signs that America stands today on the brink of failing its likelihood of continuance as a Christian nation.
And the radical decline of this Christian Nation, accompanied by its predicted probability of failure to achieve its founding “end and aim”, are in major part due to the phenomenon of “the church” in all its major denominations, passively subverting its responsibilities under the great commission (Matthew 28: 19-20) in order to “obey” deliberate mis-interpretations by secularist non-believers, of the constitution which is the covenant of .....

The survival of this Christian Nation is in extreme peril! Not from zealous terrorists, it is from skeptics of God’s participation in the ebb and flow of its daily life; and the Skeptics, the Atheists, the Humanists are now winning most battles.
The strength of radicalized Islam is based on and is perpetuated by education of its children and “lay” adults. Humanism in the U S continues to grow stronger due to the (illegal) removal of God from education of children in the public schools, unchallenged by the Church. Many, if not most “Lay” members of the Christian Church believe that their burgeoning move toward “Political Correctness is aiding and abetting the humanist cause.
About the Author
Don Goss, has been filling pulpits of four denominations since the 1960s, conducting worship services and discussing with worshipers their thoughts on the influence on society of their denomination. He also participated in two studies of the efficacy of smaller churches as components of nation-wide ministry. Don also served for many years at “district” levels of two denominations. Don, with his wife, devoted 40 years as “officials” of Youth Ministry, counseling and helping youth and parents relate “unique” experiences to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Don’s “tent-making” career during those same years was in serving as Internal Consultant to agencies of state government, serving five Governors covering both political parties. Don’s professional “nature” is to apply issues and concerns to the “Big Picture.”
