Mr. Mushroom walked to town and went into Mr. Goodbun’s Bake Shop. Mrs. Twig had Mr. Mushroom’s coffee already poured and his favorite donut sitting on a plate with the Daily Tree Times newspaper waiting for him on the table. “Good morning Mrs. Twig and Mr. Goodbun!” bellowed Mr. Mushroom as he came through the door. Mrs. Twig and Mr. Goodbun returned the greeting in unison. “Oh, thank you Mrs. Twig for getting everything ready for me, you know me too well.” Mrs. Twig just smiled and carried on with her morning chores around the bakery.

About the Book
When Mr. Mushroom woke to the bright sunny spring day, he thought his day would be like every other day, which consisted of being quiet and uneventful. To his surprise it turned out completely opposite to what he had expected. Even though the events of his day kept him extremely busy, it left him with feelings of happiness and contentment.
About the Author
Lynne Luker lives in British Columbia on a small acreage with her husband and four children. Mr. Mushroom's Busy Day is her first book in the series of "Little Forest People".
Lynne and her family enjoy the outdoors and spend a lot of time camping in the beautiful mountainous surroundings of the Rocky Mountains. Lynne's children once built a small little town out of logs, sticks, mushrooms, rocks and moss along with other ground foliage thus giving Lynne the great idea of Little Forest People.
