About the Author
The author spent over two years researching the Bible and categorizing its 31,000 plus verses into 1,600 topics. This work represents a solution to the frustrating results that arose from consulting existing Christian sources on modern topics such as politics, dating, family issues, social issues, life's meaning and sexuality. Concordances provided word based searches which produced an overwhelming amount of material. Typical existing subject guides tended towards "Church Speak" and presumed a familiarity with Christian terms, doctrine or theology. Christian literature was too vast to find the most important of life's issues as addressed in the Bible in one single volume. And worst of all, it was most frustrating to hear the same verse used repeatedly out of context on websites, television and radio for the purposes of furthering "ministries" and increasing donations.
This work evolved into a database with over 34,000 entries in a computer file. A portable hardcopy was produced several times for the author's use. This unique work is made available in a convenient size (close to the dimensions of a typical Bible) and easy to use format for the reader's enjoyment.
