God’s Child and Mine
You are my special little child
and I love you with my eyes
God took you to the
and your love flowed inside
Your little time on earth
has left me very proud
I know you will grow up
with many Angels by your side
I see you in the skies
and your dreams are mine
all your thoughts and senses
keep me feeling warm inside
It is hard not to cry
as I carried you inside
but I feel your heartbeat
in flowers and sunrise
I thank you God for our special child
that I held for only a short earth time
my little child is yours now
and lays cradled by your Spirit bedside
My tears of sorrow I cannot hide
baby, you look so perfect to my eyes
I know you will look down from Heaven
and blow me kisses from the skies
Your baby clothes I dressed you in
made Angels dance at your feet
I laid you in your baby coffin
with socks on your tiny little feet
A small lock of your hair
and a picture of you asleep
now are my treasured memories
that I will always cherish and keep
In my garden here on earth
I planted a rose for you
it is a special Valentine rose

About the Book
Memories with Thanks Spirit Love
The essence of this book is to create a fragrance of the love that the Spirit world has for each and every one of us inhabiting the earth side of life.Its intended to create links in the reader’s heart towards life and beyond. I hope each reader, as a result of reading this book, finds the flame of love, peace and Light in their life. One of the many aims of this book is to add meaning to the life of the reader. The desire within my heart is to strengthen the faith and belief of the continuation of live after passing and demonstrate how close our loved ones are to us. The poems are intended to offer comfort, support, and strength and love when a loved one passes to Higher life. They are also intended to embrace and understand many experiences a person has during a lifetime. My desire is that the poems touch the soul of someone and express their emotions, feelings and bring them to life for them. At the end of each poem I set out my thoughts and philosophy which are intended to raise the awareness of each soul towards understanding life’s purpose, life in general, and their soul’s onward journey.
I find it very difficult to pick a favourite poem because each reading of any enables a facet of emotion to be experienced and expressed.
If I had to choose my own favourites I would say it falls between “God’s child and mine “on page 96 or “Love letters from Heaven “on page 132 or “Butterfly of love “on page 45. The poems when read or spoken in a spirit vibration I hope can transform your thoughts and open your heart to love, tears, laughter and life.
About the Author
He was born in County Longford, Republic of Ireland in the middle of the countryside on a farm. He is one of eight children. Michael went to Saint Mel’s College, Longford as a boarder with the intention along with his classmate, Thomas Gerety of joining the priesthood and to work in the foreign missions helping in third world countries. His classmate passed to Spirit in their third year there during a mid term break. It changed his life and his direction. He came away from the priesthood vocation and has in the last seven years become a Dad to two wonderful little boys. Sadly his marriage did not survive. He came to England during 1973 and lived in London. Whilst living in London Michael discovered the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain and joined a Medium development circle. It changed his life completely. Michael currently lives in Hertfordshire, which is situated just outside of London and he loves spending quality time there with his two very precious sons. He enjoys gardening with them and watching them learn about nature and the world they live in. He now works as a Medium serving many Spiritualist Churches and thanks God for this precious gift. Michael believes it transcends all religions and cultures. He is a fully qualified international therapist in the disciplines of Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Sports Therapy and Indian Head Massage. This is part of “MGL HOLISTIC HEALTH CARE “which believes in the holistic approach to treatments. It encourages a person seeking treatments to look at their whole life and bring it into harmony.
