Hope You Do
I believe in you do you believe in me?
My hopes are that you do.
I feel light as a feather and fancy free.
You taught me how to trust and understand.
Patience I learned from you never making demands.
Because of you I now know how to love.
For me you had to be sent from heaven above.
Being with you I’m as happy as can be.
I believe in you; hope you believe in me.

Just drifting
I allow my mind to drift far away.
To another land where only soft music plays.
The waves of salt water roll toward me.
Cool breezes of air blowing slowly.
A dim blue light is slowing dancing.
In mind I suddenly find; peace and tranquility.

About the Book
Quietly I desire love while soft delicious mist of green;
Slowly floats above a warm stream in my Emerald dream.
Visions of my future erases my past strengths my self esteem.
I’ve been to other places in my mind traveling from land to land scene to scene.
To a land housed with only kings and queens.
Where no healing is needed and everyday feels like spring.
Everything I can see for I am there in spirit it suddenly seems.
Enjoying my every desire captivated by everything;
by finding a way to relax my mind changing my very being.
I see you there like me it looks like you are enjoying.
The visions in my Emerald dream.
Can you feel the calmness, peace and love “O” so serene?
Can you see the clear blue skies and its surroundings
sparkling and clean?
Can you see a field of pretty flowers surrounded
by the different hues of green?
Can you hear the jazz playing softly composed
of horns and strings?
The scent of lavender; sun shine everyday
with rainbow colored beams?
How about sipping on an island drink
dining on different types of cuisines?
Lying drifting slowly with me in my Emerald dream?
About the Author
Drea has a passion for writing and have been writing
poetry and short stories since the age of twelve.
Received the Editor's Choice award in August 2006
for her outstanding poetry .She will be published in
Immortal Verses and Who's Who in Poetry winter
2006. Her work can be found on display at the
International Library of Poets in
