About the Book

It has been said that children acquire 50% of what they will learn by the time they enter school.   Parents are a child’s first teachers.   How well children will do in school depends to a great degree on how well we have prepared our children for future learning, an awesome responsibility.

This booklet is not intended to be a cookbook but rather a discussion of those factors that influence school success:  Intelligence, Environment, Physical Well Being, Social Maturity, and Psychological factors.   It is hoped that both parents and pre-school teachers will find the contents of interest and informative.
