Evil can be a cause and source of pain and suffering. It can also be used for spiritual growth and development. Among the ministries of Jesus Christ were ministries that fought against the works of the devil. This included healing the sick and lame, and casting out evil spirits. The most important part of Jesus’ ability to perform these miracles was his dependency and relationship with God the Father. Jesus emptied himself of his deity to become human. He had to face all the evils of the world just as you and I. He was sent as an example for us to follow. As that example, he showed us how to access the resources of heaven through a relationship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. He demonstrated that the kingdom of God was present and that God the Father could accomplish his work through him. This is apparent in John 5:19 when Jesus stated, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." To illuminate the value of this scripture, we must understand that Jesus was in tune with God the Father in the way that he perceived reality. Jesus looked at life from a heaven to earth perspective and not from an earth to heaven perspective. He brought the realm and reality of heaven down to collide with this world to bring about change. This is an important part of our spiritual growth and development that many of us miss. It is our mind’s ability to stay focused on the will of God that gives us access to the resources of heaven. For many of us, this is not easy. Our spouses, children, work, politics, sports, television and a host of other worldly activities, keep us from staying focused on God.
One of the strategies employed by God’s enemies is to destroy as many people as possible who have the ability to access heavenly resources. This enhances God’s enemy’s ability to advance their territory and influence. The number of non-believers is growing dramatically. By promoting humanism and the belief there is no God; Satan and his followers have mounted an overwhelming attack on God’s people. As a direct result, many churches are anemic. There is so much arguing and confusion over church doctrine that the church is almost powerless to repel Satan’s attacks. A normal Christian life should include spiritual intervention, miracles and revelation. It should also possess a sense of well being, love, joy, and peace. Only a renewed mind can consistently bring heaven's reality to earth. It is a gateway that God uses to make his reality collide with earth's reality. As Christians, we should always expect the impossible from God. God is always working around us. He seeks to have a personal relationship with you. God wants you to be involved in his work. This is why it is so important not be so distracted that you cannot see what he is doing around you. God speaks to your mind in many different ways. The enemies of God are so good at their mission that the majority of Christians do not realize that they are ineffective to engage God's enemies because they are being overwhelmed by all of the distractions of this world.

This book provides insight into the very nature of evil, demonic beings, and our own contributions to what we have come to know as evil. About the Author
Dr. William Derrick Moore author of "Christians Sending the Wrong Message to the World", brings another message to God's people in the struggle against evil. Dr. Moore provides insight and illuminates the need for Christians everywhere to be available for God to use as vessels to bring blessings to others. It is essnetial for all Christians to be aware of the distractions and demonic activity that hinders us from being a blessing to others. "Not everyone is equipped to deal with demonic beings or evil" says Dr. Moore, but we should all know when and how to get help once we have identified it as such. Moore continues to bring difficult if not troubling topics for Christians to examine. "If we do not constantly examine ourselves and keep God's ways and values as our light in the darkness, we will surely go in the wrong direction. All Christians must be able to identify the evil that exists within us and the evil that exists outside of us."
