About the Author

Linda was born in Southern California, where she says her heart still lies. Loving poetry from a very early age, she worked very hard at her craft. In her late teens she sold her first poem to an affluent gentleman who came to her mother’s art gallery to purchase a painting. The way he felt about her poem gave her tremendous inspiration that would lead her down the wonderful road of poetry.

            It seemed that everyone who read her work found it beautiful and inspiring. A college professor once said she had the makings of a great poet. Linda Tamburri’s style is very unique because of her wide range of subject matter. The way she expresses her thoughts are truly captivating and intensely lyrical.

            As the years progressed Linda was published in several poetry books and received numerous awards. She has been asked to write lovely verses for many weddings. Later admirers of her work used her services to write beautiful farewells for lost love ones.

            Linda has a brother Tony, who was an entertainer and performed at numerous weddings and at popular nightclubs. Tony also wrote music for college plays. Linda wrote the lyrics that he later put to music.

            Linda believes this book to be her greatest achievement so far. “Poetry is a great way to escape into a world of fantasy. It is a natural high that is truly magical.”
