I can't work around a woman / who don't know how to hush
one who asks / why don't you do this/ or why did you do that
who before you can finish one job / gives you two more /that need doing
who asks with a frown / why you grunt / or whistle / or cuss / when you work
she doesn't understand / about work / and solitude/ how they go together
but I must admit / it's a joy / to work for a woman / when she leaves you alone
