True Loves Journey

It was eight days after Thanksgiving. Ginny had a suspicious feeling come over her that something was wrong with her relationship with Blake. They have been dating for four years now, but something just didn't feel right. She knew he had cheated on her in the past and she has got the same vibes as before. She decided she was going to drive by his house to see if anything was going on. Ginny never trusted him since he's been caught before. She had to see if his car was there and also if anyone else's for that matter. She thought for a moment and began pacing the floor when she heard Tess walk in from a date. "Hey chickie," Tess said in a cheerful voice. Tess always seemed to be in a good mood even when she wasn't. She's always happy and Ginny could never understand why she couldn't be more like that. "Hey, how was your date?" Ginny asked a little agitated. "Ok, tell me what's wrong," Tess said knowing her friend had something troubling her. Ginny began explaining, how she had a gut feeling about Blake. "It's hard to explain but something is not right. He has been gone since the day before Thanksgiving and he had only called three times," she continued. "The last conversation we had was this morning and just the way he spoke to me I felt he was hiding something from me." "Wait a minute Ginny," Tess said. "What would give you this feeling?" "What did he say?" she asked. "Well nothing much except that he would be back in the morning and for some reason I feel he's lying," Ginny responded. "I know it sounds crazy, but I think he's already back and I won't rest until I know for sure." "What do you plan to do?" Tess asked very concered about her friend. "I thought I would drive by there just to see for myself," Ginny answered. "Does that make me crazy?" she asked Tess. "No, but I think we should take my car so I can drive. You don't need to be behind the wheel of a car right now," Tess replied. "You're not in the right frame of mind. "Thanks Tess, that's sweet of you to go with me. I was hoping you would, but I didn't want to impose on you," Ginny added. "That's what firiends are for, to look out for one another, right?" she said. "You would do the same for me," Tess added. "Ok, let's go get this over with so I can get back home and go to bed, my head is pounding and I would have never been able to rest until I see for myself," Ginny declared. ;They drove over to Blake's house. Blake lives close to the downtown area of Miami. His house is a stone exterior stucco design, with barrel tile roof, and an abundance of windows. A two-story home with a covered entry, a spiral staircase with a loft, seperate family dining room and living room and a luxury master suite with a sitting area all beautifully decorated in Old English furnishings. It has six other bedrooms and three guest bathrooms as well and a five -car garage. A very large house for one, some people say, but Ginny had hoped that one day she would be living there to and raise a family of her own. Just one of her dreams that may never come true. They pulled onto his street Tess turned her headlights off and stopped the car. There he was, getting out of his car with a female acquaintance. "I knew it," Ginny said. "I knew the bastard was cheating again. He was too sweet on the phone with all the baby this and that shit," she added. After he got inside Tess proceeded onward to pass by his house.
