About the Book

Poetry Eyes is a collection of poems that explore four fields using various writing styles. Each field is packed in one chapter.

The first chapter Brilliant Beauty sheds some lights on different aspects of the art of poetry, while the second chapter The Real Challenge deals with heart matters. The third chapter They Say…I Say gathers assorted branches of wisdom, while the last chapter Sugar Pepper And Salt presents some unusual metaphors to challenge the reader’s imaginations and thoughts.

If poetry had eyes

They would peek and tell

If life has tales

Pick what you could sell

From poetry to love to despair

From grief to morals to where

Life’s chapters unfold

Reveal and hold

Like this book

Releases and locks

You don’t have to be a poet

To indulge

You don’t have to be madly in love

To enjoy

All you need is a pulsating heart

To wonder

To feel

To employ

About the Author

Poetry Eyes is Amal’s first book of poetry. She believes that poetry is life’s revealing eyes; through poetry one could examine the different aspects of human existence. This poet finds rhyming irresistible, yet sometimes manages to escape and write non-rhyming verses.

Amal is also the author of  “Guess Who My Best Friend Is?”
