About the Book

Every human being has experienced in life, situations, circumstances, that have engulfed them, as in a raging storm, lashing with fury at their hearts and souls. They are life’s issues as critical illness, divorce, physical or emotional abuse in a home between husband or wife or to precious children. Addictions of various kinds, rebellion of children and more. From the first book “Life’s New Dawn” filled with Miracles from God, comes this second book in a series “Life’s Tossed Waves” that looks into the effects of our life’s storms. From that storm the book encourages hearts to invest their hope and strengths to faith, and trust in Jesus Christ, whose presence was nearby as in Matthew chapter 14 verses 24 thru 32. His disciples, amidst a storm, learned as Jesus spoke “Don’t be afraid, Take courage, I am here”! Such is God’s love for you and me. Jesus is close by to pull you and me out of “Life’s Tossed Waves”to safety, healing and restoration. Then as in the pages of this book, you will arrive upon the shore to recognize and exclaim “Truly you {Jesus Christ} really are the Son of God”!

About the Author

Rev. Paul Kumar born in Madras {Chennai} South India on July 23, 1941. Born into poverty in a Christian home to Joy Nilkan Kumar, an english teacher with unfailing love for Christ, and his father a journalist and political writer Mr.Nilkan Perumal Kumar.

Rev.Kumar’s mother in her Christian faith with dedication, raised her child with such discipline that helped Paul to overcome life’s disadvantages and obstacles of daily living in India. After high school, he joined the Indian navy, served 10 years and returned to civilian life at the age of 26.

Faith in Jesus Christ instilled by his mother, was an integral part of Paul’s daily living. With no personal riches, he wrote a nine page love letter to Menuka {Minnie} Guha, that reached into the inner soul of her heart. His words had such an influence, that Minnie was willing to give up her lavish riches and family to marry Paul, and live in a life of poverty and sadness.

God had other plans for Paul and Minnie, that defied human efforts. {Isaiah 46 verses 9-11} became the foundation and cornerstone of a new life in a blessed nation, the U.S.A. After 38 years of marriage with three children and four grandchildren once again Paul and Minnie have a family.

An ordained Baptist minister, serving Christ like an evangelist, is also as a volunteer, to a prison ministry in Douglasville, Georgia. Rev Paul Kumar is able to offer hope through Christ to those who are engulfed in life’s turmoil. “Life’s Tossed Waves” is filled with scripture to offer encouragement during one’s dark days….
