It is about the kind of love that people are willing to die for, to kill for, the kind of love that make people travel to the far ends of the earth searching for. It is a story about two people that felt as one with each other and what happened when they were driven apart by hatred and anger of others, even between familly and enemies and finally by death, itself. Not many people have found that kind of love that these two people had found. It is a story about two people that fell in love and how their love never really got to be the way they had always dreamed of, not the way their hearts had desired for it to be for each other, and certainly not how they had wanted it to be, because of all the hypocrisy, ignorance, and hatred of others and this story is about how their love could not and did not die for each other despite all the odds that were against them. This story is about the hypocrisy and the ignorance of some of the people in their lives; it is about the obsession of controlling someone's life and about the deceit of certain people instead of wanting someone to be happy. It is about how their two hearts loved each other so much but were driven to total disaster and turmoil! It is a story about how their hearts searched and tried to be with each other despite what seemed to be, their hearts told them otherwise about how they loved each other. It is a story about these two people who had their love torn apart not just once or even twice but even again in the afterlife and how all they ever wanted was to be together. It is about two souls that were more than just two souls that were meant for each other, they were what are called "Two Souls."
It is a story about the kind of love that never ends, a kind of love that nothing and no one could ever destroy, even when they tried so hard to come in between, the love could not be ended. It is about the kind of love that even when one of the twin souls dies physically, the love continues because the love does not know how to exist without each other; one twin soul cannot exist without the existence of the other. It is a real true love story about how two souls could and did not want to exist without each other without, dying for each other or trying to die for each other. It is a real love story which tells about the spirit's sheer determination and the strength of the will itself of the twin soul coming back because of a promise spoken and endless love that was declared out loud to the realms of the universe! It seems impossible because most people cannot see spirits at work, but so many people than you can imagine had experienced the spiritual realm with the two spirits in this story the people even witnessed the spirits at work through other unknown and untold people that the spirits did indeed work with! The story I am about to tell you is for real, it is the absolute truth of something completely unbelievable and phenomenal yet so wondrous in itself to occur because of the strength of someone's love for the other, the will of their love for each other and the depth of a love that existed between two people and that still exist in their essence of their spirits and souls.
Twin souls are two people that are of one spirit. They are not two different spirits; they are actually one spirit sharing two bodies. They are so much alike, they can read each other's minds but in actuality, it is not like they are reading each other's minds, it is that they can just feel and think so much alike that they know what the other is feeling and thinking without having to speak to each other. In fact, they can read and feel each other better than they can read and feel themselves. It is actually the way real physical twins are with each other, they feel one in the same and in truth, they are of one spirit that is the reason they are called "Twin Souls or Twin Spirits." Twin Souls don't just feel each other or read each other, they actually think identically alike, feel identically alike, and they even live almost identical lives to each other. In other words, the events in their lives that occur are the same events and they occur at the same times, dates and even same years of each other's events that occur.
Twin souls are two people that feel so much a part of each other's soul that they physically cannot and do not want to live or be without each other. They have a strong yearning and need to be near each other, it is so strong it becomes physical. Their need to be with each other is uncontrollably strong; it is like an addiction to each other. They actually need to be with each other so much that whenever they are apart it literally hurts, and the pain that they feel when they are apart is real actual pain. In fact, the pain is so real that they can and do actually experience real physical pain. Their need to live their lives with each other is so strong that it becomes a controlling force in their lives. Twin souls are almost always brought up having identical beliefs, morals, and even have same lifestyles, with also having same events in their lifetimes actually occurring at the same time of their lives.

About the Book
This book is about a young girl from East Los Angeles whose brothers were from one of the biggest barrios (gang) in L.A. They controlled everything she did. They moved to El Monte, where other barrios, (gangs) and trouble awaited when she fell in love with someone from the other barrio! She was caught in the middle of ignorance, jealousy, hatred and love! Between her mother, brothers and the one she loved, she had lost already! Because of her fear that her family would hurt him she hid whom she loved, but more importantly, the fact that she had his child! It is a book of their forbidden love and the lies and deception and what those lies did to their love!
It is a story of a young girl who fell in love for the very first time with all the odds against them and their love, their love never had a chance! It is about how God had sent him to her more than once and she still lost him! All the people filled with hatred worked towards making their life miserable and destroyed everything they ever wanted, though they could never destroy the love they had for each other! She carried the guilt of what happened to him and even in his afterlife, she searched for his soul! She went searching for his spirit and all while she was doing this, she lost her own spirit and almost her soul! It is a modern day Romeo and Juliet, although she never died, she went into denial that he even existed for 20 years! Sometimes she would play out the game that he was alive somewhere on this earth waiting to see her one day!
About the Author
My name is Rose Portillo. I am the mother of 12 children, nine daughters, three sons with now 17 grandchildren. I was born in El Paso, Texas on December 25, 1959. I have five brothers. I grew up in East Los Angeles in the Maravilla Projects. My father was a writer and an artist who became a Technical Illustrator for the Northrop Company in the mid 60s. My father, Albert Portillo, was the main person that inspired my love for writing! I began writing when I was very young and wrote children's story for a company when I was 19.
I grew up in a very controlled and restricted life with five brothers and my parents. My parents were both born here in the United States. My maternal grandfather was from Spain. My paternal grandfather was from France and Mexico. My paternal grandmother was a Native American Apache Indian from Arizona. My maternal grandmother was a Mexican American Indian. I lived in the city of El Monte and attended Mountain View High School. In East Los Angeles, in the sixth grade I wrote, directed, produced and put on two plays for the whole school. At the age of 9 or so, I also played a part on old television program called Wonderama, in "Let's Be Friends." I began writing poems when I was very young. When I was five years old, I began dancing Ballet Folklorico and Flamenco. I became a Professional Flamenco/Ballet Folklorico Dancer in the year of 1976, when I was 16. I formed a dance group in 1995 and then I became injured. Besides my love for writing, I had a Medical/Legal Transcription Business, was a Paralegal and Medical Assistant in my life. I remained a dancer until I became ill with Fibromyalgia and Degenerative Disc Disease.
