About the Book

This is my story of my childhood living in Jersey with Portuguese parents. This is when life was simple and everyday was an adventure – children went outside to play. Remember Chopper bikes, Two Balla, Bazooka Bubble Gum and the Jackie Magazine? I just wanted to share my fun days – I hope it brings back your childhood memories.

About the Author

My name is Helena. This is the first time I have written a book and it was very exciting to remember my fun childhood. I am married and have two children. I enjoy taking the dog for long walks on the beach. I try to look on the positive side life and try to enjoy life to the full. To see my book in a shop would be a dream come true.
