There is an urgency to provide support to single mothers and their families. Those wearing the badge of honor titling them as single mother should wear it proudly.
If you are a single mother, I know your struggles, concerns and heartaches, because I am a single mother also. I am fully aware of the financial challenges and concerns to provide for your family. You often wonder how you got in this place and why you.
Some of us desire to be married, yet we are often looked over by those men we deem to be a great catch because they don’t want to raise someone else’s children. Some of us desire to climb the corporate ladder, yet it appears that may be impossible because it requires us to be away from our children too long, or maybe it requires us to leave town and we don’t have anyone to take care of our families.
There are times men will approach us because they believe that we will be a free for all. After all, we already have children. It’s not as if we are virgins.
I also know that many of us feel as though we have to settle for a man because maybe he offers financial security, or he will accept our children. Therefore, we say we can make ourselves love him in time. I know every thought, plan and disappointment, and I have cried many of the same tears.
I may not be going through the same struggles you are, but I have gone through many. My children are now adults. My son is a college senior, and my daughter just married. Yet I still am very much a single mother and I have had a burden for us for many years.
Now Unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20
It’s time to put all of the single mother clichés away. Whatever the world thinks they know about the single mother, it is time to show them who we really are.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. Psalm 139:14. Single mothers, we are not a mistake. God has a plan for our families and us.

Society mistakenly confuses the single mother with single women. There certainly is a difference, single women only need to care for themselves. Single mothers have the responsiblity of a family. This book was written to encourage the single mother to become the mother and woman God has called her to be. She gives biblical principles applicable to help these moms raise their family. This guide tackles the real issues, such as forgiving the absent parent, time management, finances and much much more.
About the Author
Rosiland better known to many as Roz. Born and raised in the Midwest. Though her children are grown she still remembers the struggles of being a "single mom". She oftened wished that there was more biblical guidance available to help her raise her children. Out of her own struggles she became burdened to help other single mothers. It wasn't all tears and heartache, there were good times and times she just had to laugh out loud.
She has lived it and now is sharing her journey with other single mothers.
Roz enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a collector of old Bibles, and old movies. She would love to travel more, but still doesn't seem to find the time.
