John Long lives in the Wilmington, North Carolina area, where he was raised.  He is happily married to his wife, Jori, and the five wonderful children.  He is the founder and president of Long Acquisitions, Inc.  He started buying properties in August 2000 after watching a late night infomercial about real estate investing.  He bought the program and learned and applied the information.  His very first deal was with his neighbor that wanted to move to a bigger home.  John provided a solution to his neighbor’s problem and bought his house at a big discount.  After realizing how easy it was to purchase his first house and making a huge profit, he wanted to continue pursuing real estate investing.  He decided he was tired of changing hours for dollars at a transmission repair shop.  On his second real estate transaction, John made over $18,000 and the rest is history.  Since then, John has bought, sold, or controlled over 550 homes/units/land.  His most recent transaction were an 11-plex commercial property in Commerce, Texas and a 15 acre, 34 unit mobile home park in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
