About the Book

From the pit of despair to the wings of hope, Tattered Twilight will meet you where you are and comfort the wounded soul.  As feelings come to life on paper, healing will soon follow.  Teens and adults alike will relate to this heartfelt poetry, a compilation which was inspired by true life events and written over a 25 year period.

About the Author

Kimberly began composing poetry and short stories in fourth grade.  Being both creative and sensitive, she learned to channel her feelings into writing, composing deep, emotion-charged poems.  In high school, she took an Expository Writing class, honing her skills and taking first place in the San Juan Unified School District’s Writers’ Faire.  She also won numerous awards and scholarships for her writing.  Kimberly attended college at California State University, Sacramento as a Liberal Studies major. 

Kimberly is happily married and the mother of four teenagers (two daughters and two stepsons).  Kimberly loves helping others and frequently shares her hard-earned wisdom with those in need.  In addition to her full-time analyst job with the State of California, she is actively involved in serving at her church.  She enjoys spending time with family, friends and her many pets.  Some of her hobbies include reading, writing, gaming, and movies.
