About the Book
"The Little Ladybug" is an exciting tale of curiosity, consequences, and learning valuable lessons in life. It takes us to the home of an insect, "the ladybug" and a young boy, both of whom must face two very important issues that all children must deal with on a daily basis. The first is listening and obeying their parents and the other is doing the right thing. The ladybug struggles to listen to his mother while curiosity gets the best of him. The ladybug feels sad that he did not listen. The boy also learns a lesson about doing what is right for the ladybug. It is a unique and engaging story about two lovable characters and an extremely important life lesson to be learned.
About the Author
Marilyn Lypka has a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing. She has worked in the telecommunications industry for the past fourteen years and owns and operates a communications consulting firm. Marilyn volunteers for various children's ministries as well as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Padre Foundation. She dedicates time to both JDRF and Padre as her eldest son Parker, age 5, lives with Type 1 Diabetes. Her two nephews and father also suffer from the disease. She is currently a stay at home Mom and writes children's books. She and her husband Boyd, along with their two young boys Parker and Palmer, live in Foothill Ranch, California.
