James S. Wolfe is a poet, preacher, programmer, and professor. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Oberlin College, an M.Div. in Theology from Union Theological Seminary in New York, and a PhD in Religion and Society from Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. In “A Song of Faith,” Jim articulates a vision which is scientific in its foundation, religious in its aspiration, artistic in its expression, and ethical in its outworking. In “The Gist of the Bible” he offers short commentaries on the 104 best chapters in scripture grouped in pairs by theme. Jim teaches religious studies and sociology at Indianapolis universities.
