For years it was a game at our house to try new recipes. Then we would vote for either a keeper or a loser. As the recipe file grew I began to think about putting together a cookbook. My girls got married and really started wanting a cookbook so they wouldn’t have to call me every time they wanted a recipe. This cookbook is filled with tried and true recipes. Some have been given to me by dear friends and family, found in magazines or cookbooks with a little change here and there to make it my own and others just put together with what I had in the house! We love good food, but we also love to have family and friends around us to enjoy this food. The more we love you the more we want to cook something up for you! In this book you will find everything from comfort food to very elegant company dishes. Through trial and error I have put this cookbook together with all my favorite foods. Because of our love for food you will find something for every taste. Find a recipe, prepare it and enjoy!

About the Author
Kathy Thornton was born and raised in southwest Missouri. Her mother and grandmothers were all great cooks and at an early age she started learning to cook. She loved 4-H and Home Ec and still has the recipes she used while in grade school and high school. Trying new recipes was a favorite thing to do and still is!
She and her husband of 34 years live in the same southwest Missouri area. They have 2 married daughters, Tracy to Sam and Lori to Danny. And one fabulous granddaughter, Morgan! During the time her girls were growing up she was a housewife and mother. Now she is a housewife, mother, Nana and business owner of KT Concepts.
Kathy loves to cook and give out recipes. This is the best way to give them out all at once!
