About the Book
My past stories, hopes, and ideals found in this book may help to inspire someone. A wise person is strong, yet by increasing knowledge he gets an understanding of strength. This is a book of my smiles and sadness in poetry form. From my heart, it is as natural a food as I can give you. I tell of things in my pathway of life, of happiness, a true gift of perfection. A friend’s heart remembered, or a life lesson learned at a grandparent’s encouragement, I have shared what I can with you of my heart’s happiness, as a smile to you.

About the Author
I was born in the hills and mountains of Pennsylvania. I grew up on a farm enjoying the many things a rural community life offers, then Wyoming became my home. I worked for a roofing contractor during my teenage years. I saw the airplanes fly overhead and decided I wanted to fly. I served in the Airforce for the next twenty-two years. I have four beautiful children, all grown now with their own families. The world taught me many things about living and being a father.
I went back to school after my military career and became a teacher. I taught adults at an aviation school for thirteen years. I worked with Preston University for four more years. I then went to a commuter airline, teaching and writing technical manuals for six more years. I retired and decided to put my thoughts into this book to share with you. My past stories, hopes, and ideals found in this book may help to inspire someone. I have been published in Noble House’s book "Song of Honour" in London, and in the League of American Poets book, "A Treasury of American Poetry III."
I came from over the mountain, I’m headed for the valley of time. In this book I share a part of me that may create a memory in you.
