About the Book
Abel is a voice for the dispossessed, for whom hope is a ship that went aground early, betrayed by an absent drunken whoring captain. In a sleeping world, he struggles, alone feeling, awake wondering if anyone else is awake. Even the lives of objects around him mirror the lives of humans; they decay, are abandoned, lost destroyed, or merely—brutally—forgotten.
Anthony Russell White, Poet,
This is strong direct poetry, that doesn’t hide its rich emotion behind self conscious art, but offers it straight from its own beauty.
James Carse Ph.D.,
They are highly evocative portraits of moments in time…finely drawn…I would recommend this book to anyone.
Lucy Harrison, Award Winner
