Stinky McGee

Stevie lived close enough to his school that he could walk to it.  One day on the way to school he stopped to play with the neighbor's dog. The dog loved Stevie and jumped up on him to say hello. It had rained hard the night before leaving some mud puddles on the ground. The dog's paws were very dirty and mud got all over Stevie. He kept petting the dog and the dog kept getting him dirtier and dirtier until little Stevie was a mess!  He didn't want to be late for school so he started running as fast as he could. Just before he got to school he slipped on the wet ground and fell into a big mud puddle. Stevie was now filthy!
