My book takes a common sense approach to understanding how credit works as well as the advantages of starting a savings strategy and investing at an early age by using some of my personal life’s experiences as lessons learned.
About the Author
Shane has been in the banking/mortgage industry for over 11 years and has done it all from originations to management to support. In his career he has worked for 3 of the top banks in the nation. He has managed and consulted in the area of multi-cultural markets as a middle and senior manager helping all three banks increase their market share in this area. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, Shane served as general and later as a district manager for the largest furniture chain in the nation at the time. He then went on to manage for a major finance company where his primary responsibility was analyzing and extending credit.
Shane holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University concentrating on management, marketing and finance. Shane is a retired Armed Forces Veteran serving 21 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard before retiring with the rank of Major. It is his education and military training coupled with his experience in banking and mortgage while working as a Vice President and First Vice President in the area of emerging and multi-cultural markets that gave him the experience to excel in the corporate world and the knowledge to convey the consumers expressed needs.
