This Loss Mitigation Foreclosure Workbook has been developed for people that are not utilizing common mitigation resources, perhaps because of not knowing there is more than one option. The material was designed, compiled, and used by an expert mortgage default mediation negotiator over the past seventeen years in direct mitigation practice.    

About the Author

It all started back in 1991 when Mr. Watkins began interviewing countless families in the middle of a foreclosure crisis but didn't have anywhere to turn. He saw first-hand how thousands of homeowners became emotionally distressed when no answers were being provided to address a cataclysmic event. He knew, like most others, about the common repayment plan workout, often understood by the uninformed as the only way. However, there had to be more available options so he set out in search of them. This publication is, in part, a result of that search.

The loss mitigation workout practice provided him with insight and helped him develop the knowledge, skills, tactics, and strategies needed to face the foreclosure nightmare head-on. He became successful in negotiating with hundreds of banks, mortgage lenders, servicers, and investment firms. Over the years, he has negotiated mitigation agreements with even the most difficult mortgage lenders. In 2007, Mr. Watkins formed another business called Watkins Global Network, LLC. The primary focus of this company is to provide workshops, publications, newsletters, and books in to assist those that are searching for answers. Mr. Watkins additional training includes the Uniform Mediation Act and the Foreclosure Mediation Act. Mr. Watkins believes that if a homeowner is willing to arm himself/herself with the right mitigation option, understand how to prepare for the process, heeds clear-cut instructions following  step-by-step outlined of documents for a mitigation package submission, then the chances are favorable that a homeowner could reach an acceptable resolution to end the foreclosure nightmare. He has been recognized and interviewed by news media outlets, magazines, and newspapers both locally and nationally.
