There once was a girl named Lily. She often acted quite silly. She had a vivid imagination That took her to nearly every nation. Every evening when it was time for bed, Lily ran down the hall, jumped into her purple bed, and laid down her head. When she was tucked in, snug as a bug, a big grin spread over her face. Her eyes started to twinkle. Another adventure was about to take place before the sheets had time to wrinkle. Lily drifted off to sleep and awoke in her dream. In one swift leap, she flew! Up, up, and away she went over the city. Wow, what a view! “Flying, I’m flying!” Lily exclaimed. “I’m like a bird but as fast as a plane!” “Where shall I go? What will I see?” Thinking, soaring like an arrow, she said, “How about a trip to lovely Paree?”

About the Book
Lily – The Girl Who Can Fly in Her Dreams is a whimsical rhyming children’s picture book about a spirited little redhead that can fly in her dreams. The first book in this series is Lily Goes To Paris. The book begins as Lily drifts off to sleep and in her dream meets Millie, her French friend, who takes her to all of the historical sites of Paris. Together they embark on an educational flying tour at night above this magnificent French city. These two delightful characters develop a friendship in one night time adventure that lasts a lifetime.
About the Author
Staci Capehart was born in the small town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia in the heart of the Ohio Valley. Throughout her life, the author has lived in many different parts of the United States, including Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Willingboro, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Charleston, South Carolina and Dallas, Texas. Staci went to elementary school in Willingboro, Point Pleasant, and Atlanta. She gained her higher education in Baton Rouge. During her years in Georgia and Louisiana she began to write, but also made time for piano lessons and drum lessons. Staci has written many stories and poems that have entertained her family since she was a little girl. She continued writing throughout the years and continues to do so, as an adult, to the delight of family and friends. Staci has resided in the Dallas, Texas area for the past twenty-five years. She has a successful career in the hospitality industry and even though she has a busy work schedule, she has always made time to continue her writing. Staci has always had a vivid and colorful imagination, and now that talent is being put into print for all to enjoy. Lily – The Girl Who Can Fly in Her Dreams is the author’s second children’s book and was inspired by her grandparents’ travels and her collection of dolls they brought back from the different countries that they visited. Lily’s ability to fly in her dreams transports her to Paris in this first book of the Lily series. She meets Millie who personally takes her to all the famous sites of this magnificent French city.
