About the Book

                                  EARTH ANGEL

One person's truth can be another's illusion.

Everything depends on who is defining the truth.

When the police begin searching Jenny Webster's L.A. apartment looking for proof that she murdered her fiancée, Jenny's claim to innocence hinges on the fact that she was hundreds of miles away in a hospital at the time.  But the DA is convinced that she is the killer and the cops set out to break Jenny's alibi.

However, when a young detective discovers that Jenny has been living for three months without food, yet remains perfectly healthy, it becomes startlingly clear that this is no ordinary murder case.  Could Jenny's insistence be true - that she is able to leave her own body and be in two places at once?  Could her spirit have flown to her fiancée¹s side while her physical form remained in the hospital?  The idea is absurd.  Yet shocking new evidence suddenly makes it seem possible.  As the fast-moving mystery unfolds, Jenny Webster is forced to undertake a terrifying journey of the mind.

About the Author

JUDIE STEIN's professional career began in her native Chicago when a musical she wrote, produced and directed turned a profit, albeit a modest one. It netted $10. Nevertheless, at age five, a career and love-affair were launched. There was no turning back. Judie’s theatrical life grew as she did. As a Chicago teen, she hosted a Saturday morning TV show, appeared in TV dramas and Summer Stock Theater. A multi-talented performer, she studied concert piano and was a featured youth soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. While studying for a BFA in acting at Boston University, Judie continued her professional appearances with national TV commercials and more summer theater tours, often with major stars. In her spare time, and to add her influence to the total production, she added off-Broadway theater directing. But it was during a co-starring tour with the late Van Johnson that she was cast for a TV series pilot, to be produced in Hollywood. With that, Judie moved to California and, as her dramatic accomplishments increased, and she was able to keep and continue training her beloved horses, the move became permanent. She continued to work as an actress, in TV and film, but also broadened her creative input and output. She added writing and editing to her professional resume, which included a stint as a Fashion Reporter for the LA Times. Her obvious creative and development skills were not overlooked by the producing community and she was tapped for important executive positions with several major entertainment groups. With no loss of focus, she completed her recently published first novel, EARTH ANGEL
