About the Author
William Lester taught English in China in a middle school and nursery school in 2002/2003. Because of a lack of easy to read English literature, he wrote a number of stories for his students. Many of them are in poetic form, using simple English, allowing the student to rapidly develop reading skills. The author's early struggles with dyslexia have given him deep insight into the challenges of reading. His love of children and ability to look at the world through a child's eyes, have produced delightful tales to entertain and teach them. Imaginative illustrations enhance the stories, and add to the reader's enjoyment. The high interest, low vocabulary used in the book makes compelling reading for preschoolers and children with special needs.
