About the Book

Grandmothers Bedtime Stories Book 5 of the series has many stories using different little animals such as Mikey the Mouse that began an adventure of climbing a tree.  Two kittens became friends while exploring the dark woods with the help of Mr. Owl.  Bunny Hoppity helped Mr. Opossum when he became ill from eating too many wild berries.  Waddle-Waddle could not help tumbling over and over each time he shook his head.  Butter the little yellow butterfly saved the large Monarch butterfly from an attack by a large bird.  Oscar the Octopus rescues a young Octopus  from a fishing line.  Annie surprised her mother by growing the sweetest tasting apples on her little tree.  The Ant and the Beetle became friends by helping each other.  After tossing seeds to the Rabbit, the Rabbit family shows the Blue-Jay where the sweetest berries grow.  Honey Bee and her family enjoy buzzing around the orange blossoms.  Droopy the Pelican learns that constant complaining will only chase his friends away.  Funny Bunny gave happiness to others with  his clown acts.  A  Ladybug helps an old woman with her garden by eating the bad bugs.  Lizzy the Lizard learns a lesson after she falls into the water and is saved by a fish hawk. The wise king of Elfville is able to retrieve the pot of magic dust.  Piggely Wiggely and Muddy Ducky remain friends even though they donot enjoy eachothers play areas. The Playful Clouds and the Rumbling Rocks reach deep into ones imagination . Each of these stories are meant to show caring and helpfulness .

About the Author

During her retirement, the author has found countless hours of free time to reminisce about her childhood.  Long ago a visit to a disabled family friend started a hobby of crocheting afghans for her children.  Later on she enjoyed walks along the New Jersey shore collecting many varieties of seashells while enjoying the sun and off shore breezes.  Time has passed and a new hobby has enveloped the author.  While enjoying a morning cup of tea, a Robin fluttered down to the bird bath in her garden.  A few lines were written, then a few more, and so began a  new hobby of writing the continuing series of Grandmothers Bedtime Stories.
