                           Wedding

As you come together before God to be wed to each other, 

You make a promise to love one another.

And you will remember, there are three things in life,

To carry you through this marriage with strive.

Faith - to believe in God in everything you do

To pray for each other, and for God to watch over you.

Hope - to never give up whatever life may bring,

For most trials are only a passing thing.

Love - the greatest and strongest of all three,

With affections and devotions in marriage for thee.

For love is self-giving, with no demands or fears,

It is forgiving, patient and brings happiness throughout the years.

So pray you always will love and cherish each other,

And build God given memories to enjoy with one another.

God Answers Prayers

We all know God answers prayers in due time,

So we pray, hoping everything will be fine.

But at times we pray for a long time day after day,

Wondering if God is listening what we have to say.

But God is there and listens to every word we say,

He loves us and knows all our problems day by day.

He wants to be there and help us in every way.

You see, none of us know what life may bring.

Only God knows our life from the beginning to the end.

So God waits until the timing is right to act in our case

He answers our prayer and everything will fall in place.

Angels Galore

We all know, God sends angels in time of need,

They protect us in time of trouble we can't see

While God performs His task in His own speed.

I remember after surgery in the recovery room,

It was just seconds before waking up at noon.

I saw hundreds of angels flying by me in great speed.

They looked so beautiful with their gold gowns and no feet.

I remember saying how beautiful they were

As they went by me, slowly turning into birds.

I sadly saw them leaving, but one fell down to earth.

As I looked at the bird lying there dead on its side,

I saw a quarter size circle on its body like a big sore

And I knew that my cancer was in the bird, and I had it no more.

                 Happy Mother's Day

The word "Mother" is a big name.

It bears a lot of responsibility,

But is a word short of fame.

A Mother has an unending job,

Of giving a child her unconditional love.

A love with discipline, respect and God given morals,

And make a home to be there in case of sorrow.

To nourish and teach a child is only a start,

But training to adulthood is the other big part.

And so when a Mother looks back and sees a job well done,

She cannot help but give thanks to God,

For all His blessings He had sent from above.

Good friends come from Above

God  knows, in time we all have needs.

So He sends us good friends forever to keep.

Friends, we can talk to in time of grief.

And to talk things over with sincere belief,

Or to have a good time together with laughter,

And pray for each other a short while after.

Friends care in good times and bad,

And help us get over when we are sad.

So having good friends with talented hearts,

Is really God's blessing of a beautiful art.
