Maple Grove The 60's

About the Book

    MAPLE GROVE THE 60s is about some experiences in 4-H, middle school, high School, the guard and a few places I worked in the 1960’s. Also are some thoughts on driving cars, shooting guns, riding cycles and being a teenager. The book is a continuation of my first book MAPLE GROVE (about growing up in this neighborhood.)

About the Author

    Dan was born in the forties, the forth child of six. Six months after being born, the family moved from Lawrence Co. Indiana to a farm on Maple Grove Road in Monroe Co. This neighborhood would be “home” for the family.

    Wanting to save stories for his grandchildren, Dan bought a computer in 1990 and started typing. By 1992 hundreds of pages were printed at home. Wanting to put the material in hardback form, and being encouraged by friends, the text was sent to the publisher.
