My True Feelings

This is a poem from one of the chapters in my book.

                         Silent Zone

  My pain grows stronger with every waken day,

  I keep it all deep inside, I guess that's just my

way.

  I feel trapped inside this silent zone,

  Feeling lost and alll alone.

  No one listens or understands,

  My life feels like its out of my hands.

  I get up and smile for the world to

see,

  But my soul is lost inside of me.

  My heart is numb, my tears are dry,

  I suffer inside but I dont know why.

  I want to cry my silent cry but no ones

around to hear,

  My heart fills with sorrow, my eyes

drown in tears.

  That's why I trapped inside this silent

zone,

  Feeling lost and all alone.

Here is another one from my book

                         Drinking

  You choose to lose your family instead of the

bottle, this is truly so,

  Your beer is first on your list and we are some

where below.

  You dont see why your actions tear the life

right out of us,

  Or how much of our lives we have had to

ajust.

  Drinking is all you think about from waking

up to falling asleep,

  Our family is to be loved and charished to

keep.

  Sitting in a bar trying to drink yourself

away,

  Instead of coming home from work with

something more to say.

  Drinking will lead you to vilence, vilence

will lead you to jail,

  This is how it always starts and this is why

we fail.
