About the Book
Those who found pleasure reading Jules Verne will very likely enjoy this science fiction / adventure story. Love for nature and plausible advancements in technology, combined into a special kind of romanticism, are essential guidelines throughout the whole story.
Contrary to Jules Verne's works, in which few or no women have a leading role, a steady interaction between uncommon men and extraordinary women, in a context of diversity, gives this book a dynamic social trait. The reader has to cope with moral and philosophical dilemmas, dealt with in an easy and logical way. References to the old continent and to the present time abound; some stereotypes are smashed to smithereens, others seem to hold true.
In principle offered to young people, this work may also attract not so young readers with an open mind and a heart for adventure.
About the Author
Born 1959 in Madrid and grown up in a multicultural environment in Switzerland, he developed a passion for languages, cultures and psychology.
His liking for airplanes and defense systems brought him to the aerospace industry in Spain, where he is still engaged. He is especially fond of the time during which he worked in close contact with the USAF.
Traveling with family, practicing martial arts and walking in the mountains with friends are his favorite leisure time activities.
He lives happily with wife and son in a suburb of Madrid.
Now, it seems that he has finally found some time to write the stories, or an updated version thereof, that he invented for his son to listen to and enjoy.
