About the Author

Michael W. Howard Sr. was born in 1965. he is the second born of five children. After walking away from the pulpit in 1988, Michael became a drug dealer in which he served three years in the Louisiana State Prison system. In 1996, he began to write poetry and slowly began to get his life back on track. In April 1999, he married wife, Tracy now of nine years and is the proud father of six boys and one daughter. In 2001, he became the founder of a non-profit organization for at risk youth. In June 2007, he was licensed and ordained at the New Day Deliverance Holiness Church in Alexandria, Louisiana where he is currently the president of the ministerial and men’s department. He is also active in the prison and renaissance outreach ministry. Among his achievements, in 2007, he graduated from Calvary High School which allowed him to receive his high school diploma. Minister Howard was recently voted into the 2008 Steering Committee for the Alexandria area in which local pastors and city council members are involved in the community and work hand in hand with the citizens in an effort to improve the condition of the local area neighborhoods.

Minister Howard foundation is the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a black male, he choose to do unlawful things and turned around and used them as learning tools to let males as well as females know that, they to can make it, "FAITH IS THE KEY," and that nothing is impossible to those who have the desire to do better.
