About the Book
Of a middle class American family from Signal Mountain, Tennessee, a college kid in the 1970’s bought a powerful Harley Davidson motorcycle to satisfy his need for a care free rebellious life. He was young and reckless and thought the bike would somehow help him to change his life and ironically, it was the bike that would change him.
Cruising on the twisted roads behind the University, he crashed his bike in a devastating, head-on collision with an on-coming car. From the pages of the book, he gives a detailed description of how the bike followed him into the car crushing his unprotected body with a deadly force. Nevertheless, it was the life experience following the crash that changed him, profoundly!
Caught up in a near-death experience, he tells of being with Jesus Christ in heaven after his journey through the strange and wonderful land in which he traveled. But that was only the beginning, for after returning to this world, he experienced a seemingly hopeless struggle to survive his precarious existence in the hospital. Although everyone around him believed he was comatose, unaware and would surely die from the severity of the injuries, he never gave up hope. Through some miraculous experiences, he was brought back from an almost certain death.
The Book is a true story. The reader travels with him on his journey back to recovery, as he searches for ways to deal with the pain and to overcome the difficulties he would encounter. After all of his efforts failed, it was his faith in Jesus that saved him and enabled him to have a remarkable recovery.
About the Author
In 1972 I had a motorcycle accident and was involved in a near death experience. I found myself with Jesus Christ in another dimension, another reality. He gave me a choice between life and death and a chance to work for him. I chose life, and I write this book to reveal my story of recovery with hope to light my work for Jesus Christ.
