About the Book

My novel is a love story and a travel venture. The protagonist, `she`, is in love with two men and torn between them. There is a third man in the story, her `bud`, who is just a very good friend.The action takes place in Spain where she taught English as a foreign language.She becomes victim of a malicious drugging and develops schizophrenia as a result. We follow her recovery as she struggles to make sense of her ordeal and uncover the truth surrounding being drugged.She wants to see all three men once more and strives to return to Spain only to be confronted with a sting in the tale on the big night rendez-vous. `Drugged` for flying the flag in the wrong place in the wrong era, does Joanna finally forgive her wrong doer and make peace with all involved.Does she succeed in occupying the moral high ground or is she tempted into committing adultery with a married man ?

About the Author

Joanna Fleur O`Neill is obviously the pen name of the writer who wishes to remain anonymous for privacy reasons.Strictly speaking this is not fiction since everything that happens in the novel  really happened.This is, therefore, a true story and hopefully more authentic for the truth of the authorial voice. I hope you enjoy it. The author married her Gibraltarian husband in 2012 and is planning on doing a Law degree with the Open University commencing in 2014. Joanna is going to travel throughout Spain and Gibraltar in 2013 to research the sequel to `The heat of love in a bar`.
