About the Book
My inspiration is life/death and what transpires in between. With the ability of expression I expose raw emotions. Deep honest feelings and values that may co-exist with your very own. Walk with me if you may through my life and times. My pain, pride happiness and struggles. My first book of times. I give you “My Testament".
About the Author
Dannie Terrell Robinson, Born June 1,1981 (The Day of the Popular Eve) in Harlem, NY. Raised, in The Bronx, NY where he grew up with his mother, father and two sisters. A change of pace took place when the family (now only father and mother) relocated to Sumter, SC (age 12). This is when poetry found a new son. Tempered by a complete culture shock and the lost of his father three years later, there was a revert to poetry. This was the most important outlet in his life, his life saver. When there was pain he wrote, sorrow, pride, satisfaction, obstacles. With expression through words and voice he wowed close friends and family. Unexpectedly in May, 2008 he lost his angel on earth. After the lost of his mother and the brief reunification of a family parted over ten years, he realized certain responsibility must be up held and maintained. Dreams must become a reality and “what if” was not an option.
