About the Book
This story of my mother's death is true to the best of my recollections. Coming from an Irish, Roman Catholic family, some might think it to be a fairy tale, but it's a true story of tears and love.
Nearing the end of my mother's 2 1/2 week hospital stay, her surgeon was leaving her room. "She's doing as expected; a few days or even hours left", he said. I thanked him and went in to be with Mom. That was the night that Memories Mood started; how her death walk took a turn with me that awesome night.
About the Author
Dolores A. Tull was born to an Irish family and raised in Cresentville, PA; a suburb of Philadelphia, during the Great Depression. Educated in St. Williams Roman Catholic Schools, grammer and spelling were not her forte, but she developed a fondness for the tales her blind "Grandmom Mc Gee" would relate. During the early 1970's, she felt compelled by the Lord to attend night classes and learn the fundamentals of writing.
She was awarded the Golden Poet Award in 1990 and 1991 for her poetry. Her favorite themes are spiritual and patriotic. Some of her stories have appeared in newspapers, and her poems have been printed on posters and bookmarks distributed around the world.
