This book was written by two unique
individuals that met in cyber space. After email exchanges and internet
messaging, they developed a true friendship. In the beginning they were known
as Jazzman and Dr. D, but over time their inner literary skills prevailed and
they became Rake Michael and Unwavering. Through their love of poetry, they
developed a relationship and related with the sublimest activity that poured
from their minds. It will be obvious as you read their story that at times the
road was paved with emotional turmoil and at others times, great devotion.
Their poems tell the stories of the human condition. Their stanzas are filled
with passions of a first intimate encounter, a smile which embraced love at
first site, deceptions, lost loves, promises of eternal faithfulness, and in
the end; loss of life. On more than one occasion their poetry became silent,
but because they both obsess, it could not stay silent for long.
The end to their story is yet unknown.
The poem that will be written at that moment will have a sweet stench, for
these two poets will remain true to each other in words. They can not simply
lay down their pens and stare at lifeless paper. Reason and fate brought them
together; all they need do, is listen to the rhythm that beats through their
poetry. “You give me your laughter, I give you my heart. When these words are
spoken, till death do us part.”

About the Book
'Rhythm’s Fate' is the true story of two people’s journey into uncharted water’s called internet dating. It is the story of a woman who chose a man out of a sea of faces and her unwavering faith as they are tossed into the eye of the storm. What starts out as a simple email turns into a saga of epic proportion. A song writer seducing his prey with written words, Rake Michael consumes Unwavering only to be caught up in the web he has created. Through poetry their tale unfolds as they fight demon’s from their past and obsess over the unknown. Their story is of reason and fate. When two people are brought together by more than mere circumstance but by the touch of death as a soul passes into the after life. In the end Jazzman and Dr. D discover they must listen to the rhythm that beats from the heart, when the secret is revealed, when “goodbye is too hard to say.”
About the Author
Darla Marx is a forty seven year old writer from Austin Texas. Her career in printing and publishing has spanned for over two and a half decades. Working in the newspaper industry her photography as well as graphic design's have won awards from the National Press Association. She has published articles in Texas Hunter's and River Of Life Magazine's. Her poems can be found on the pages of The Poets Sanctuary 2008 Splash of Verse, a publication of collective poetry.
Michael Sperandio is a forty six year old song writer and musician from Houston Texas. Performing under the stage name Pogo his career in the entertainment business has been on going for over twenty five years. He travels the world meeting new cultures, incorporating them into the art which inspires and completes the man....... "I love music, I play music, I feel music, I am music. Music is me. All types of music from all corners of the globe. Especially tasty bass grooves. YEOWSA!"
