Callie the Caterpillar Collects Coins

About the Book

This book is about a caterpillar named Callie. Callie decides to take a walk one day and look for some leaves to eat. On her journey she finds coins along the way and places them in her basket. Unfortunately throughout her adventure other creatures interfere with her collection and cause her to recalculate her coins, but she never loses her cool. It is fun for kids to read and learn at the same time.  

About the Author

Cynthia Juarbe, born 1974, is a new author to help educate children. She was raised in Long Island, New York and contributed much of her education about children to Nyack College and her own daycare. She has four children, 3 biological and 1 legal guardianship. She has graduated Nyack College with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and Masters of Science in Special Education. She owned and operated a daycare out of her home for three years and volunteered numerous hours at her children's school for both education and PTA membership. She has been teaching children since she was 14 years old. Her desire is that children would learn from this book and be excited about learning. She hopes to continue to write and create a series of Callie the Caterpillar books for children all over the world.
