The seconds tick and tick,or should I say the centuries tick,
By and by, with the brevity of watched kettle,
Anticipation of lucid precipitation,
Cheers the slaked earth's unforgiving sneer...........
I have become waterfall,
Flowing over edge,
Flower opening to bloom,
Man at work in darkened room......
Holding hands in space,
My last link to the human race,
She whispers and warms,
Space is so cold..........

About the Author
I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Literature and providing a home for a rescued cat. This is my second book of poetry produced from a need to communicate with the outside world.
