About the Author
Alison Voiles grew up in what was referred to in the 1970's and 1980's as a "Broken Family." She never felt her family was actually broken and didn't like her loving family being labeled that way. She felt her family was really just expanded and revived. With today's blended families, Alison feels now is the perfect time to revitalize the look of the traditional family tree as there are more and more families that don't fit into just one tree, but actually fit better into a family forest!
