About the Book

This book is about a 4 year old boy who helps his Grammie and a little blue gecko called Ava conquer their fear of each other by bringing out the one thing they have in common . . . pearls!  It’s a reminder that despite our differences, we can all find a way to be friends.

About the Author

Sharon DeNucci resides in Naples, Florida and Cape Cod, Massachusetts with her husband Jack.  Inspired by her eleven grandchildren and her love for storytelling, she is enjoying the best years of her life. 

Corinne DeNucci lives in Somers, Connecticut with her husband and two young children.  After making the transition from Physician Assistant to stay at home mom, Corinne was able to pursue her life long interest in art.  This is her first illustrated book.
