About the Author
Purnima Mead, as known as "Peenu" to her family and friends, was born in New Delhi - India. Peenu's most fun part of growing up was spending time outdoors in the mango grove of a small town in India. Nature walks and reading stories to the children in the neighborhood during Saturday afternoons was one of her favorite adventures - she then quickly learnt the art of telling stories to children around her. Coming to America and living in Middletown in MD reminds her of her childhood - the best way to keep those memories alive is by writing stories for children and making them a part of those wonderful moments!
