About the Book
"No U-Turn: Never Back Down" is a collection of poetry with various themes, including love, family, friendship, and life's journey. Throughout the book, the author keeps asking for a reason to keep living when he is alone in the world. He realizes that he needs a goal to strive for because he cannot go backwards in life. "No U-Turn: Never Back Down" describes everyday situations and feelings, some of which the reader can relate with. This book is filled with encouragement, insight, morals, philosophy, and emotion that is all expressed through poetry. This book started as a simple thought and then soon grew into a whole story that can now be shared with the world.
About the Author
My name is Christian Passen. I was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, April 1991. I went to public school up until 2001, which is when I started homeschooling. I am currently 17 years old, and I live with my parents, Jeff and Paula-Marie, my two brothers, Stephen and Daniel, and my two sisters, Jennifer and Laurie. Throughout my life I have made many friends and they've all inspired me in one way or another. Right now my view on life is that “Life is comprised of many obstacles, you can try to avoid them, or face them head on. This book is about moving ahead, no u-turns...never back down!” I'd really like to make a difference in life whether it's through this book or by some other means.
