About the Author

The author was born in Brooklyn, New York.  Educated at St. Brendans Elementary School, James Madison High School and James Madison Business School.

Entered the work force as a  Secretary for a bank then known as Manufacturers Trust.  Married and raised two children.

When her children started school her pharmacist, asked her to sell cosmetics in “Trevi” his boutique shop. He sent her to Coty and Revlon to learn the business. Holds certificates from Revlon and Coty excelling as a Beauty Consultant which to this day are still mounted on her wall.

She moved to Staten Island, New York in 1971 and became a Licensed Real Estate Person. Also worked for the State of New York  and as a Sales Representative for Playtex.  In 1981 she moved to South Florida and has held a Real Estate License in the State of Florida  ever since. She also worked  as a Secretary for the  State of Florida before being hired by IBM.

She is a very proud Retiree of IBM.  While working at IBM she was one of the Directors of the IBM Club and a member of the IBM Drama Club.  She enjoys  dancing (ballroom and tap), singing,  crocheting and horticulture.
