About the Author

Sandy Miles is originally from central New Jersey and relocated to the Bradenton , FL area in 1979.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Western Connecticut State University.  Though, not currently working in the education field, she has volunteered for many years with various children's programs.  Sandy’s love of children (especially her 3 grandchildren- Lexi, Jordan & Madison)  have inspired her to illustrate her first book, Birthday.
