I keep asking God, "How am I supposed to be writing this book called Water-Walking Faith when I keep ending up right back in the hospital?" Father God, you told me some time ago after my last surgery, "No more surgeries!" But now, here we are again talking about surgery. I hear you Lord. You are telling me to just bring everything up to date with this chapter and that You are going to write the ending. How foolish of me! I thought I was going to write the final chapter and send this book in! I even gave my book publisher an estimated time of delivery. But how can I write the final chapter when I don't know how it will end? Yes, I do believe it will end with me being healed and made whole, but I don't know the "how" and the "when". Only You know that, Father, so I will be obedient and catch everyone up with the current status...and leave the final chapter to You. (The beginning of Chapter 9)

About the Author
Emily Jones Hudson, the founder and Senior Pastor of CommonBond Christian Fellowship Ministries, is a native of Hazard, Kentucky. An alumnus of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, Emily has been a journalist, freelance writer, poet and editor. An ordained minister, she has served as a chaplain for the local hospital and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
