About the Author
Pamela Curry was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has one son who is 31 years old and 3 grandchildren who live in the Atlanta area. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1993 to be closer to her family who are originally from Macon, GA.
Pamela started writing short stories and poetry at the age of 12. She used poetry and writing as a way to relieve stress and the disappointment of being teased because she was overweight and much taller than normal 12 year olds. She had to face being teased and taunted everyday when she went to school and then when she went home, her Mother would also tease her....
It was very hard and sometimes sad and lonely being an overweight tween but eventually Pamela lost the baby fat and started enjoying life. Highschool brought about many new friends, fun, and excitement. Writing has always been Pamela's favorite hobby along with photography, modeling, modern dance, interior decorating, computers, and cooking. Her love for writing enabled her to excel in English and in any endeavor that she started.
